Dear Friends and Neighbors,
You may have read about our town hall events and this Thursday’s informational transportation meeting in Issaquah in our local papers. This is just a quick reminder and my personal invitation to you to attend any or all of the meetings scheduled around the 5th District. I represent you and, as you know, we may have a special session in November to debate, and possibly vote on, a transportation tax package. This Thursday’s meeting will allow you to share your thoughts and ask questions of local transportation leaders and your state representatives and senator.
I hope you will join the discussion! If you are unable to attend the meetings, please always feel free to call or e-mail me with your thoughts and questions. My contact information is at the bottom of this e-mail.

Share your thoughts at a local town hall meeting
With the 2013 legislative sessions adjourning at the end of June, we are now gearing up to address issues that may be brought forward at the November committee days and in the 2014 legislative session, which begins in January. As such, we have scheduled a series of town hall meetings throughout the 5th District, including some of the newest parts of the district, in October. I hope you can participate in one, or all, of the meetings. They are informal gatherings and no RSVP is necessary. If you have a specific issue or bill you want information on at one of the meetings, please let me know so I can have the information available for you.
